First, a little about me. My name is Linda and I live in Alabama with my husband Ronald . We have been married for forty three years, and I hope we have forty three more to go! Ronald has been retired from the military and civil service jobs for several years, and I retired from the nursing profession in April 2001. We enjoy working outside and making improvements to our house. We have an extended family of four dogs and one cat who provide us with much entertainment. Ronald is unbelievably patient with me for the long hours I sit here playing with this 'puter!

Our son ,Russell, is a talented and creative builder and interior designer who has his own successful business in Birmingham, Alabama. Russell enjoys traveling and playing on the computer when he has any spare time. He is currently doing a lot of kitchen and bath remodeling for clients in and around Birmingham so his spare time is very limited these days. He has also recently accepted a position as Instructor in Interior Design at Virginia College in Birmingham. He also sings beautifully!

Our older son, Ron, Jr. and his wife Debbie live in Huntsville, Alabama. By day, Ron is a banker by trade. This profession allows him to show his leadership and business skills very professionally. In the last year he has also become a pit crew member for Andy Belmont , who drives car #1 in the ARCA racing series. While this is at present a hobby, Ron finds it to be exciting and self satisfying to be in the midst of all this activity. While his work, hobby and family activities leave little spare time, he still occasionally sings and plays guitar for his church services. Debbie, a fantastic wife and mother in her own right, is also very active in their church . She recently came through a quite serious surgery and gave the entire family a lesson in courage. She is at present doing extremely well and has resumed all of her previous activites.

David, our 11 year old grandson, is quite the athlete. He plays soccer, basketball, and baseball and is a super student in all his school work as well. David has started 6th grade this year and is looking forward to an exciting basketball season where he will play point guard. He has recently taken up guitar in the footsteps of his Dad and is a pretty fair musician in his own right.

Lauren, our 15 year old granddaughter, has fast become a young lady. She has started high school and is a sophmore! Lauren is a sweet tempered girl who is very popular. She is involved with her church functions.She is also a member of the MCHS Dance Team and they recently brought home several trophies at a regional contest between other high schools in the area..

Ron, Debbie, Lauren, and David while on a recent cruise vacation to Cozumel, Mexico... during fall break at school. Guess which one spent the day snorkeling?

A great friend and guiding hand is Joop Blokker, who developed the fantastic program known as LISA, Your Personal Secretary. This is one program I never want to be without. Thank you Joop!
